A TALL PINE TREE TOPPLES INTO OUR FRONT YARD AND ‘OMG’ IT’S SEPTEMBER ALREADY:))

First thing Kelly did this morning when she got up was to fire up our furnace and with temperatures sitting at 43F outside I must say the enveloping warm air felt mighty nice.  Yes by golly it's the first day of September already and we are so glad we decided to replace our old inefficient electric furnace last year with an instant heat and fuel efficient modern gas furnace.  Sometimes ‘even we’ make right decisions:))

It was a shorter drive for Pheebs and I this morning and I concentrated my photo efforts on signs of early Autumn.  Not only has the calendar turned over another month but the feeling of Fall is very definitely in the air.  Turned out to be a beautiful heat and humidity free September day.  And to think in 4 short weeks it will be October already.

Being very careful with my wrist I was able to do a bit of cleaning-up in one of our sheds for a short while.  My wrist is not paining me at the moment but I'm determined not to let that fool me like it did last week when I thought the wrist problem had cleared up and headed outside and tackled some heavier yard work.  Yikes!!

Been a stressful couple weeks with some tree cutting going on around our house and last night we ended up with a tall pine tree down in our front yard.  Narrowly missed our front porch but the only damage done was to some front yard greenery which will of course grow again next Spring.   Oh and I will have to busy myself and try to make another bird feeding station.  Been in the back of my mind to do that anyway so now I have no excuse not to do it.  Another project on my list for whenever this sore wrist of mine heals up.  Can you imagine me making a bird feeder….no me neither.

Just a gentle reminder to folks once again that I do not accept ‘Friend Requests’ on Facebook.  Been hacked twice doing that so if you have sent me a Friend Request and I have not responded do not take it personally.  I only really use Facebook to drop my blogger post in each night and that is about it.
