IT WAS A GEESE & WATER KIND OF A DAY

Needing to exchange 3 pieces of left over room molding for 2 pieces of a different type Pheebs & I were on our way the Rona Store in Goderich by 9 this morning.  With a couple extra dollars in my pocket after the exchange we boogied up the road to McDonalds & grabbed us a muffin & coffee to go.

LAKE HURON IS THE 3RD LARGEST FRESH WATER LAKE IN THE WORLD

Heading on down to the harbor I didn’t see any cars parked at the dog walking area so Pheebs & weren’t long in getting our paws on the ground.  Always a nice walk overlooking Lake Huron & this morning was no exception.  The big fresh water lake was calm with its numerous shades & hues of blue and green stretching & blending together far off into the horizon.  Great place for Canada Geese when waters are calm.

A relaxing quiet afternoon.  Painted a couple window frames in the reno room & did some spackling around some trim joints.  Bruce is coming Sunday to finish things & I’m hoping I can get everything cleaned up before Kelly gets home either Sunday or Monday.

GROANER’S CORNER:((  A little boy opened the big old family Bible and with fascination, he looked at the old pages as he turned them. Then something fell out of the Bible and he picked it up and looked at it closely. It was an old leaf from a tree that had been pressed in between the pages.  "Momma, look what I found," the boy called out.  "What have you got there?" his mother asked.  With astonishment in the young boy's voice he answered: "It's Adam's suit!"

After she woke up, a woman told her husband,

What do you think it means?”  “You'll know tonight.” he said with a smile.  The woman could hardly think of anything else all day and she couldn't wait for her husband to return home.  That evening, the man finally came home with a small package and gave it to his wife.  Delighted, she opened it excitedly to find a book entitled…  “The Meaning of Dreams”
