NOT A LOT GOING ON

IMG_3657

Not a lot going on today.  Kelly vacuumed the rig & I did a bit of cleaning on the outside.  Haven't decided on a day to head for the States yet but it looks like Wednesday may be out because of bad weather headed this way.  Of course I am always in favor of lighter traffic days such as Saturdays.

Words are not coming easy for me tonight so I think I had just better leave well enough alone & we'll see what wondrous delights tomorrow will bring.

And a quote from Abraham Lincoln::  "“You can please some of the people some of the time all of the people some of the time some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”

GROANER'S CORNER:(( Pajama-clad tot calling out to family: "I'm going upstairs to say my prayers now. Anyone want anything?"

The father is telling his son stories to help him sleep. The only sound is the murmur of dad's voice. Two hours pass, and there's silence in the room. The mother creeps to the door and whispers, "Is he asleep, dear?" "Yes, Mommy" says her son.

  1. And I am too tired from waxing the motorhome to comment.

  4. I guess George has a good point re customs. Personally we have never ever let weather dictate coming or going. We set a date and stick to it, sun, rain, wind or snow.

  5. Wasn't it Ricky Nelson who said
You can't please everyone, so you got to please yourself.

That will be a fun trip to New York.

  6. I used to cross at Queenston-Lewiston on Saturday mornings, but it was timed for right around six a.m. Best time of the morning to cross it seems, since my impression was that it must have been shift change? Really not sure, but I never had any issues.
