Every morning I sit in my Ikea chair, laptop on my lap, heater going, & soft music on my Sirius Satellite radio boombox beside me. A day’s quiet beginning works best for me. Greatest start to the day though is what I see on my bed. A little Pheeber dog all curled up with her head on my pillow. Sometimes she has some big upside down stretches going on, other times she twitches & whimpers as Bunnies chase her through her dreams. Quite often she will have one of her toys beside her & other times she snorts a wee bit, her nose twitches, & her tail gives a little wiggle. How truly fortunate I am to have such a great little Pal start each & every one of my day’s off with a little snort, a nose twitch, & a little tail wiggle………………….
We had ourselves a long day & I’m really tired tonight . Let me just keep it short by saying we were down bombing around in the northwest end of Phoenix for a few hours. Hit a Target store in Surprise on the way back along with a stop at 5 Guys Burgers. And I never did find any PJ’s…………

I did watch Jay Leno’s last show a couple night’s ago & for me that ends an era that began many, many, years ago with Johnny Carson. Rare for me to watch the whole show but I did always enjoy the monologues. For me both Johnny & Jay’s humor was simple, easy to follow & easy to understand. Unlike the new breed of late talk show hosts. NBC turfed Jan Leno for the newer humor so prevalent in situation comedy’s & younger talk show hosts these days. We one time cutting edge Baby Boomers are the aging Dinosaurs now & as per human trait it is out with the old & in with the new. I’ve tried watching John Stewart & that other Gilbert Report guy or something like that but they all leave me sitting poker faced. I just don’t understand their humor. Jimmy Fallon will be taking over the ‘Tonight Show’ from Jay but again this is another fellow, although talented, I have just never thought of as funny. I just don’t get the humor or understand the style of these new newer age comedians. Simply put….I just don’t find them funny. I was once a ‘Saturday Night Live’ fan but that show left me in the dust a long time ago as well. And there isn’t one newer single TV situation comedy that grabs or holds my attention for any longer than a few seconds either. I guess in some areas of my life I am just not changing with the times like I once did. And maybe that is a good thing in this day & age for this old lumbering Tyrannosaurus Rex…………
GROANER’S CORNER:(( A traffic cop pulled alongside a speeding car on the motorway. Glancing into the car, he was astounded to see that the young lady, who was driving, was knitting. Realizing that she was oblivious to his flashing lights and siren, the policeman wound down his window, turned on his loudspeaker and yelled, 'PULL OVER!' 'NO', the young lady yelled back, 'IT's A SCARF!'
