MY THOUGHTS ARE LOST

IMG_0251Been sitting here a long while at the keyboard tonight waiting for today’s words to come.  My mind fails me.  The day’s memories are sharp but my thoughts are lost, my feelings scattered.  It was a day of sadness, a day of hope.  It was a day of reflection, a day of remembrance.  I saw tears & I saw laughter.  And we all said good-bye to Uncle Harry.

  1. Our heart felt sympathy. He would probably have told you that he had a good life; he was getting tired and his quality of life wasn't the same. These were words from my almost 101 year old Mom. Enjoy those wonderful memories!

  2. We went to visit Aunt Happy today and she was really missing Uncle Don. She is still going strong and yet I can also see some loss in memory for her. So I'm trying to build as many memories as I can while I can. And I know that is what you did with Uncle Harry. He would tell you to rejoice for him because he is no longer in pain, no longer lonely. Still it's hard for us who are still here. Hugs to you and Kelly.

  5. It is sad to have to say goodbye but I have found I still have conversations with my Dad, only now I use my heart to listen rather than my ears.

  16. The moon tonight was beautiful ...... A classic crescent in a glowing golden color ...... It seems I communicate best with my dear Dad while viewing the moon, sometimes full and over flowing, sometimes washed in clouds, sometimes hiding all together and playing hard to get ..... Each brings such special memories and a warm conversation ....those moments keep my heart happy and my love alive ..... Tonight for you, Kelly and Aunt Jean my thoughts centered around Uncle Harry glowing on that beautiful crescent grateful for all the love and care all of you shared with him.....RIP Uncle Harry ....
