AWWWWW PHOOEY

Ever write a post & then just say, “Awwwww Phooey” & dump the whole thing.  Tonight’s topic seemed interesting enough to me, but by the time I reached the end it just didn’t hold my attention anymore.  So, ‘Poof’ it was gone.  Maybe tomorrow I’ll get some words put together & snag a few photos somewhere.  I have a feeling 2013 may very well turn out to be a bit of a blogging challenge…………………..

  1. Love your groaner, tonight, Al. Hey, don't beat yourself up. You can write and post anytime you feel you have something to say. Doesn't have to be every day. Give yourself a break and some leeway. You deserve it. We'll be picking up those new posts whenever they show up. It's kind of like those posts you planted in the ground for the fence. If you don't get 'em all in one day, you got something to do the next, or whenever you get back to them. At least with your blog posts, you don't have to dig yourself a new hole every time, right?

  2. I am sure you had a fun and enjoyable day like we did. A post a day is like a working mans job. It is worth it to make one that blows our socks off. I look forward to your next post.

  4. Russ is right. You are not required to post every day nor have pictures in every post. Slow down and relax.

  8. I'm too "mean" to just dump a post. I'll save it in Windoze Live Writer. Maybe some day I'll get back to it, or decide that it really was crap after all. Never good to make those rash decisions.
It'll be springtime soon. Buck up.

  10. Ah you're just in a slump. You'll get your mojo back again shortly. Just let your fingers enjoy the relaxation for awhile.

  11. Some days are better than others, so even the short posting about not posting is good. Take a rest and call in sick, or family day off, once in a while, recharge the batteries.

  12. Hey, we are on the road, and I can't think of much to write about Las Vegas. I still have several posts to do fro Death Valley. Maybe you could fill a down day with a few favorite images from the past. I'm sure there are thousands you haven't shared yet and are eye candy for the rest of us.

  14. Al, We didn't start a blog for that very reason. But we all sure enjoy your blog, even if it doesn't seem exciting to you, your followers sure enjoy it. But I do agree with the others, tho we miss you when you don't post we don't want you to feel like it's a job, if you don't enjoy it we don't enjoy it, Take a day or two off occasionally, but don't go too long cuz then we worry about you and Kelly & Pheebes. J.D. & Becki p.s. this goes for Mike and Pat also.

  15. Welcome to the "Blogging Blues Bunch". I can no longer write a decent blog every day, but I'll tell you that once you start skipping a day or two now and then it's not likely you can ever go back to being a daily blogger. At least that's the way it's been for me.
