KELLY’S APPETITE TACKLES AN ‘OUTLAW POTATO’

IMG_0309

KELLY, & HER MOM, GENE

Looking forward to warmer sunny weather moving into the area Thursday & with Saturday's rain now cancelled it looks like we'll roll out early Saturday morning. I'm still going back & forth between two different routes & I'm hoping by the time we leave Spencerport NY Saturday morning I'll have an idea which way we are going.

HEADED OUT FOR SUPPER TONIGHT
Coughing has cleared up but I still have a case of head snoofles hanging on. I figure the warmer dryer air of Arizona will take care of all that when we get ourselves over that way. Gotta get out there & get us some of that good old feeling good desert tonic.

Noticed in the Shout Box that Di from STORMRUNNER had a good name for our new big white Tiger Pal. Seeing how we are in Spencerport NY & Kelly found him here, it's just fitting that we call him.....'Spencer’. Thanks Di, & Spencer it is:)) When on the road, Spencer will travel in the passenger seat of the Jeep with Molly the Monkey. Flopper the Frog will hold his position on the driver's side dash. Flopper joined us in Niland California last winter.

‘SPENCER’

Quiet, cloudy afternoon.  Aside from a few walks with Pheebs in the back yard, there wasn’t too much going on.  Kelly’s Mom said, over the years, raising 4 kids here on Coleman Avenue, there were a lot of ‘soakers’ in the creek at the end of that back yard too.

COULD MAYBE CALL THIS, ‘SOAKER CREEK’

BACKYARD LEADS TO THE BABBLING LITTLE CREEK

Kelly, her Mom Gene & I headed out for supper at the Texas BBQ Joint.  (yep, that’s it’s real name)  Only about a 6 block drive to downtown Spencerport.  Kelly had what is known as an ‘Outlaw Potato.’  Glad she tried to eat that whole thing & not me.  It did turn out to be a bit of a struggle for her.

A warm sunny day predicted here Thursday so maybe we’ll get ourselves out & about & have us a look around a bit:))

GROANER’S CORNER:((  Why doesn’t Mexico have an Olympic team? Because every Mexican that can run, jump, and swim…….. is already across the border & out of the country!

  2. Ever since I read that cat found in the trash story, I have been thinking about a Seinfeld TV show where they found a chair and brought it home and then found out it stank really bad. Hope that is not the case with Spencer. Hope Kelly is not up all night after eating that concoction. Get well soon.

  6. Tell Kelly it's not fair that she can eat a potato like that and I can't! I love potatoes, but haven't had one since January. Well actually I have had a few french fries here and there, but not a loaded baker!

Potatoes are one of the things I cut out in order to loose the 45 pounds and get healthy. It's not the potato that is bad, it is all the good stuff on top!

  7. Spencer in the front seat should draw some attention.

Made it to Yarnell today. Temps in the high 60s and sunny.

  11. Got me a case of nose snoofles down here in warm dry Arizona. Allergens in the air! At least it isn't from a cold or flu or stuff like that. Watch out for the new storm predicted for the east coast next week -- supposed to be a doozie!
