MONDAY

DSC_2125

Kelly & I are off to Clinton Hospital in the morning to meet with Doc Robot to go over the results of my Kidney Stone ultra-sound last week.  I guess he will let us know just what all he has to do next Monday when he goes digging for those stones.  Was thinking of taking a bottle of water with me tomorrow just to see if it would turn to ice when he enters the room.

GROANER'S CORNER:((  A bus load of tourists arrives at Runnymede. They gather around the guide who says, "This is the spot where the barons forced King John to sign the Magna Carta."A fellow at the front of the crowd asks, "When did that happen?"
"1215," answers the guide.
The man looks at his watch and says, "Damn! Just missed it by a half hour!"

  2. Just a little sludge in the engine. Once removed you'll be a Lamborghini! Jim's "rocks" were lasered; he spent one night in the hospital and walked out a new man at 10 the next a.m. We hope your procedure goes as well! (((Hugs)))

  3. Best of luck with Dr. Ice. Surgery isn't fun no matter what you're having done but the results are usually worth it.

  4. A surgen should never be judged by his bed side manner. It is the skill of his hands that really count.

I'd take cold but skilled over nice but sloppy any day.

  5. Al, you got spammed again so go kill it!

Good luck with Dr Cold..... He's all business and doesn't understand that things are kind of personal with this one. But he's probably just the guy you want because of his all business skill!!!

  6. To be hoped that Dr. Ice is as efficient in his operations as in being ICY!! You surely must be looking at being done with all this!!

  10. Hope everything goes well tomorrow w/ dr robot. as others have said bedside manner doesnt always equate to the best surgeon.

  11. Don't waste good water on him, unless it's warm enough to thaw and drink.

  12. Good luck with Doc. Robot. He has probably done so many of these procedures that he could do it in his sleep.

  13. Good luck with your doctor visit. I like a good bedside manner too but, like others stated, that doesn't necessarily mean they are good doctors.

  14. We will be thinking of you Al!! I'm in disagreement with one of your commentors--spent many years in the operating rooms across the country as a nurse--it takes no more energy to be pleasant than it takes to be nasty.

  15. Too bad the doc doesn't read blogs or maybe he'd get the message. I'd be uncomfortable with such a cold guy. Good luck and best wishes for a speedy solution.

  16. Howdy Kelly & Al,
Prayers for a good outcome, good buddy!! That doc is okay, he's just
    a video-gamer, who doesn't react to
humans, but is a whiz with the lazer.
That's what's important; BLAST THAT SUCKER!! You might take The Pheebs
in and thaw the Ice-Man; she'd melt an ice-berg!! Get'er dun!!!
