WORRIED ABOUT OUR CHECKERS

Another cloudy & cold icy east wind day so I really had to concentrate on booting myself out the door this morning to get a few things done.   Tonight it is windy, cold & raining.

Aside from visiting my Uncle Harry this morning in Mitchell Ontario our day was uneventful, except for one disturbing thing.

We noticed our black & white Border Collie, Checkers, didn’t seem to be herself Monday.   This morning she just nibbled at her food & left it.  She seemed lethargic this afternoon as well so we have a Vet appointment in the morning for 9 o’clock.  Needless to say, we are very worried about her.

Just not up to a Groaner’s Corner tonight…

  5. I will be saying prayers for both of you and Checkers. Our Scooter hasn't been doing real good either. Just breaks my heart. Guess that's why I vowed never to get another dog after our Ginger died and then ended up with two. Checkers knows you love her and that's what this life comes down to.

  17. We all have off days. Hopefully this is just one for Checkers. Old dogs can be quite resilient.

I had a border collie as a kid. Teddy made it to over 16 years old.

  22. Having seen you guys and your furry friends, we understand how much a part of your life they are, all three. You've been good to them, and they have been good to you, so you take good care of Checkers. He's your Number One Boy and he needs your help!
