HAVE A NICE DAY

DSC_0036

TOUCHDOWN FOR GOOSE SQUADRON

Took the Motor Home to a local tire shop this afternoon & had 2 new front tires put on.  Rather than totally bore you with the rest of my mundane day & the details of how many crappy magazines I leafed through in my two hour tire wait I'll just wrap this up by saying we had a nice sunny Autumn day........10-4!!

ME & MY CHIEF EDITOR

GROANER'S CORNER:((

Two red heads are walking down the  street. One notices a compact on the sidewalk and leans down to pick it  up.  She opens it, looks in the mirror and says, "Hmm, this person looks familiar."  The second red head says, "Here, let me see!" So the first red head  hands her the compact.  The second one looks in the mirror and says, "You  dummy, it's me!"

  1. That's why I like Les Schwab here in the western U.S. I have had work done at a couple of their shops, and was surprised at how quickly they can get the job done, including the 4 duallies on my truck replaced. I really miss them when I'm back in the east.

  3. Great pic of the Chief Editor hard at work!
And glad to see that you have an updated photo and description of the jeep as the new toad!

I'm still on the road (or rather, parked in a hay field) on the way the west coast and Vancouver Island.

When I get back from there, I will have to start packing up for real and heading SOUTH, yay!
    See you down there somewhere.

  4. Front tires eh?
I hope this is the last spendy thing you need before telling us about all the great places you explore.
I dread buying new tires for my old clunker. I will face that in Feb 2011, when we spend some time around Tucson and Yuma. It turned chilly up here today and most of the leaves have blown off. I had frost on my van I left outside this morning. When I got home today, My wife had two beers in her hand and asked if I was ready to quit my job and grab two beers and jump down south. It was so tempting.
    Love your blog

  6. That's what happens when they present you with the bill for two of those 10.00x21 truck tires, Lucky Al didn't need oxygen instead of just a rest from blogging. After you recover from sticker shock, be safe out there. Sam & Donna.
