NEW TRIBES MISSION.....A LOOK BACK

DSC_0036

INSIDE THE SPIC & SPAN SPOTLESS AIRCRAFT HANGER OF THE 'NEW TRIBES MISSION' IN McNEAL ARIZONA.................

Noticed interest in the blog has dropped off this past couple of weeks so figured I'd try generating a little interest by re-posting a hopefully more informative & interesting post from one of our Arizona day trips last winter.   Some of you might remember our visit to the NEW TRIBES MISSION 'Aviation Division' in McNeal Arizona last December 17th.......................................

GROANER'S CORNER:((  A blonde goes into a coffee shop and notices there's a "peel and win" sticker on her coffee cup.  So she peels it off and starts screaming, "I've won a motorhome!  I've won a motorhome!"  The waitress says, "That's impossible.  The biggest prize is a free Lunch.?"  But the blonde keeps on screaming,  "I've won a motorhome!  I've won a motorhome!"
Finally, the manager comes over and says,
"Ma'am, I'm sorry, but you're mistaken.
You couldn't have possibly won a motorhome
because we didn't have that as a prize.
The blonde says, "No, it's not a mistake.
I've won a motorhome!"
And she hands the ticket to the manager and HE reads...

  5. Old groaner today, Al, but still a good one.

Interest has dropped on my blog also. Maybe that's 'cause I haven't posted for quite a while. TIme to get on the keyboard again today. I'll show pictures from my new Lumix -- even last evening's fireworks in town!

  6. I think blog traffic is down in general due to the long daylight evenings and everyone being so busy outside and getting ready for summer vacations. I've always found your blogs interesting reading and really like the stories about plain, old ordinary days - like mine!! Even when I do nothing all day it's kind of interesting, at least to me, to be able to stretch 'nothingness' out into a few paragraphs!!

  8. Thanks for the link to New Tribes Mission, Al. We LOVED the Pima Air Museum..we'll have to get to McNeal to tour this place. I really like airplane stuff..especially military..Did I mention that McGuyver had a pilot's license..got it as part of his mid-life crisis at age 40..He let it expire a few years ago...(Which was just fine with me...)...We NEVER get tired of your blog!

  9. I don't think it is that interest has dropped off, Al. Maybe some people are busy in their daylight hours, but they will catch up with your blogs later, as no one wants to miss one. I sure don't.

How do they keep that hanger floor so clean and polished!
