STILL TWEAKING THE WEBSITE

TO-NIGHT'S SUNSET AT DEERPARK LODGE ON LAKE HURON....BAYFIELD ONTARIO
I'm still working on that picture format for the top of our blogger website. I downsized the oversized picture to-day. (city of rocks) On my laptop it fits within the yellow borders with a small gray space at either end. But.........on the desktop the picture is still large & bleeds off the right side past the border. The laptop & desktop screens are different sizes so maybe that has something to do with it. I'm kinda stymied again. Laurie from http://laurieandodel.blogspot.com/ mentioned that our site was slow to open this morning so I suspect the larger format photo at the top. Wondering if anyone else is having that problem & does the photo fit within the yellow blogline frame on your computer or bleed off to the right side??? Ohhhhh, the trials & tribulations we bloggers face...............................

  1. Hi...Hope this helps. The picture is large and bleeds off the right side past the border on my desktop. I haven't tried my laptop.

  2. Al, your blog loaded much more quickly tonight. On my laptop, the photo fits within the frame, with a bit of gray space on each side. Lovely, lovely photo! I really like the new look (no surprise).

  3. Al, the photo bleeds off the right side of my laptop screen, but it opens OK. Hope you find the solution and then I will be able to copy your answers. I have really enjoyed following your travels this winter and especially meeting you, Kelly and your furry friends back in Quartzsite. We begin our long journey home today, so put a word in with the weather man for us.

  4. Al.......the photo also bleeds off to the right but opens easily. When you find the solution be sure to let us know. I've got my wife working on the issue also (former web design teacher, she's quite interested in this stuff). Good luck!

  5. This is off topic, but I wanted to stop in and let you know that after reading all about Bisbee AZ on your blog--we are here. Going to stay about a week at Queen Mine rv park. You are so right about this little town---so neat! We did Jimmy's Hot Dogs and today we will check out the Breakfast club. We love hiking all around the downtown so much to see and do....
